Guilt causes a lot of us to do stupid things. We either give foolishly to the homeless with good intentions of helping, or we try to avoid the person in need altogether so that we don’t have to face our own consciences. It’s either that or we meet the guilt somewhere in the middle and talk to the person, but lie about the fact that we don’t have any money. In doing so, we actually do more damage than good in most cases. What people don’t realize is that the best thing you can do for someone in need is to treat him like a real person. Here we go again, town hall meetings discuss the impact involved in the proposed health care Bill. This bill is named the House Bill 3200. This bill is to replace our existing Medicare and Medicaid programs. The problem is Medicare and Medicaid programs are going broke.
